Jahmyr Gibbs is one of the Detroit Lions' top weapons on offense, but you wouldn't know that from watching the teams' absolute dismantling by the Green Bay Packers in Week 1 by a final score of 27-13.
It was nearly impossible for Gibbs to find anything to work with, with the offensive line struggling to create space for him and with Jared Goff getting a ton of check down passes drawn up for himself and Gibbs all game. A 31-39 passing performance that garners just 225 yards of offense and no touchdowns shows just how much small ball Morton was going with, and none of it effective.
