Lions notes: Darius Slay’s entire 4th quarter vs. Chargers was dominant

Stealing the show is nothing new for Detroit Lions star cornerback Darius Slay. After all, he’s called “Big Play” Slay for a reason. But part of what made Sunday’s performance unique was his complete 180—from outmatched to back on top.

Pro Football Focus gave Slay the lowest coverage grade of his career at 27.7 in the first three quarters against the Los Angeles Chargers. He was beat time and time again by star receiver Keenan AllenPhilip Rivers’ No. 1 target who he threw to 15 times on Sunday.

"Big Play" Darius Slay certainly lived up to his nickname with a game-sealing INT in Week 2
