• We probably won't get a real solid idea of where Bill Bentley and Nevin Lawson are at in their recovery from season-ending injuries until the Detroit Lions hit the field for OTAs later this month. However, Jim Caldwell provided a brief update on both players last week:

  Caldwell says Nevin Lawson and Bill Bentley are "active" and making progress. Both coming back from significant leg injuries

  With a logjam forming at the nickelback spot on defense, it'll be important for Bentley and Lawson to get back to action sooner rather than later.
