Allen Park — The Detroit Lions had a scare during Saturday’s practice when wide receiver Marvin Jones suffered a leg injury.
Going up for a fade in end zone, Jones got tangled up with cornerback DeShawn Shead, who came down across Jones’ legs. The receiver got up and walked a few steps before going back to the ground where his left leg was tended to by trainers.
On a positive note, Jones remained outside for the rest of the practice. He responded affirmatively when asked if he was OK as he was heading into the locker room after practice, but otherwise declined comment.
