Lions get new numbers

Detroit Lions defensive tackle Haloti Ngata is keeping his number.

Ngata, who was acquired in a trade at the start of free agency, will wear the same No. 92 uniform he did the past nine seasons while in Baltimore.

Defensive end Devin Taylor, who has owned the No. 92 jersey since being drafted by the Lions in the fourth round in 2013, will switch to No. 98, which was previously worn by Nick Fairley. Taylor wore 98 in college.
