The Detroit Lions had their struggles with the vaunted Cleveland Browns defense, but ultimately came out on top thanks to complementary defense and an extra tip of the cap on special teams with Khaliff Raymond’s 65-yard punt return score to ice the game.
Of course, the offense did its part, scoring 10 points off of turnovers and putting 27 on the board total. While the one-two punch of Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery wasn’t effective as a unit, Gibbs had 91 yards on the ground, averaging 6.1 yards per carry.
It’s a far cry from the performance the rival Green Bay Packers had against these same Browns just one week ago.
