ALLEN PARK, Mich. -- Teryl Austin will see his family this holiday season -- just not in person.
The Detroit Lions' defensive coordinator said he’ll FaceTime with his wife and five children some time on Christmas Day. He doesn’t, though, have a favorite holiday.
“No, I don’t like any of them,” Austin said.
He explained.
“Just another day,” Austin said. “I think when you get in this profession, a lot of holidays you’re working and you have things to do so you’re not kind of enjoying it. It ends up being another work day.
