While most of us don’t see a problem with watching the Detroit Lions from the comfort of our homes with sweatpants and plenty of booze within arm’s reach, it’s naturally a whole other story for the team’s defensive coordinator.
Speaking to reporters Monday, Lions DC Cory Undlin described the frustration of having to watch Saturday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from his kitchen island.
“I was disappointed in the fact that I wasn’t there,” he said. “Obviously the outcome of the game was not good, didn’t execute. Proud of the players and couches that had to step up and deal with it.
