It’s not like Jace Billingsley hadn’t seen any footage of wide receivers before.
When he made the transition from a do-everything wide receiver/running back to full-time receiver coming out of Eastern Oregon, Billingsley studied wide receivers of all shapes and sizes.
In his two years on the Detroit Lions practice squad, Billingsley watched plenty of film of slot receivers like Julian Edelman and Wes Welker, too.
