Detroit Lions running back Joique Bell spent last off-season rehabbing from surgery. He had two procedures in January to clean up tendinitis in his knee and Achilles tendon and a third in March, to repair a nagging ankle injury.
By the time he got on the field in August, Bell looked and felt like a shell of the back who led the Lions in rushing in 2014.
Healthy now, Bell hinted last week that he’s primed for a bounce-back 2016.
“As far as my health, this is the best off-season I’ve had since going into my third year (in 2012),” Bell said.
