Lions beat the Bears so bad it created early locker room tension for Ben Johnson

The Detroit Lions handily defeated the Chicago Bears, never looking back after pouring on 52 points against Dennis Allen's defense in a huge NFC North game with plenty of bragging rights on the line. It was never a close competition, with one unit obviously a contender, and with the other with so much more work to do to get close to that echelon.

Chicago has a ton of questions to answer on offense, to be sure. But on defense, they shouldn't be anywhere near as bad as giving up 52 points in a game. It's incredible hard to score that much in the NFL - the Bears defense made it look very easy to accomplish.
