Allen Park — Several members of the Ford family, including owner and chairwoman Martha Firestone Ford, visited the Lions during practice on Christmas.
Even with the holiday this week, the Lions prepared as usual, and after practice Friday, they greeted Ford and her relatives.
"It's Christmas Day, and for her to be out here with her family, obviously they could be home eating Christmas (meals), but for her to be out here means a lot," safety Glover Quin said.
Ford has been an active and visible owner since she took over for her late husband, William Clay Ford Sr.
