The Detroit Lions have finally put Terrion Arnold on the IR, as the second-year cornerback is out for the remainder of this season as he prepares to undergo shoulder surgery. That injury has plagued him, and the Lions' defense, since Week 5 against the Cincinnati Bengals, so it's nice to see that he's finally getting it taken care of.
However, the Lions are now without Arnold and Kerby Joseph, most likely for the rest of the year. This leaves them with a major hole defensively and open to vulnerabilities in the air. Detroit has to win in Week 14 in order to keep its postseason hopes alive, and it just doesn't feel like a sure thing when they're now set to face off with CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens.
