LeGarrette Blount: Season 'not the best so far,' still plenty to play

LeGarrette Blount is looking for answers like everyone, but so far he’s come up empty on why he’s having the least productive season of his career.

“I couldn’t tell you,” Blount said Tuesday. “Luck of the draw. You just don’t know. Like I said, that’ll be something that Matty P (Patricia) would be able to answer more than I would.”

Blount is averaging 2 full yards less per carry this year than he did a season ago when he helped the Philadelphia Eagles win the Super Bowl, and with just 183 yards rushing through 10 games he’s on pace to finish with his lowest rushing total since his 2012 season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
