30 targets, 289 receiving yards, 17 receptions, and just two touchdowns have defined Jameson Williams' season so far with the Detroit Lions. The versatile receiver, who just received an extension with the team this past offseason, has been a bit of an afterthought in offensive coordinator John Morton's offense this season.
With Jahmyr Gibbs getting a much larger role in this offense, and with Jared Goff hitting his go-to man in Amon-Ra St. Brown most often in the air, Williams has been the odd man out. He's still providing a critical role for the offense, acting as one of Detroit's best blockers, but you can't ask a weapon like him to just block for runners and not feed him, as well.
