The Detroit Lions have been searching to see if any new weapons will emerge during training camp, and thus far Jackson Meeks has become an intriguing option to catch the ball for the offense.
Meeks has impressed at times during practice, but didn't make a huge case for himself in the Hall of Fame game. Perhaps all he needed was one week to settle in at game speed. In Week 2 against the Atlanta Falcons, Meeks showed up early and often.
After dropping a pass in an early series, Meeks came into his own when Kyle Allen took over at quarterback in the second-quarter.
