Pray for Matt Millen.
Even if you’re not religious, pray for Millen in your own way, because he needs it. And, frankly, so do you. So do all of us. Detroit needs closure with Matt Millen.
If you’re a Lions fan who endured Millen’s disastrous tenure as team president and de facto general manager from 2001-08, you might still resent the whole debacle. Millen’s stubbornness might still sting. His maddening decision to keep drafting receivers in the first round might still drive you crazy.
But Millen is in trouble. We’ve known this since April, when Millen’s hometown newspaper, the Morning Call of Allentown, Pa.
