To sum up the state of the Detroit Lions, let’s turn to that great football truism: “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
Which cuts to the essence of this team and its miserable five-game losing streak, and its hapless ineptitude in losing eight of its past nine games.
It's simply maddening because the Lions keep doing the same thing, over and over.
