OK, it’s a position of need and Joseph had a stellar year for Illinois, racking up five interceptions and developing a reputation as a solid center fielder and a strong tackler on his way to All-Big Ten honors. But he was only a rotational player until last year, so his resume isn’t extensive. Joseph is more comfortable as a deep safety, so his versatility might be restricted.
