Inside the locker room: Lions players are running out of solutions

DETROIT -- One week after they made the critical plays in the fourth quarter to pull out a win, the Lions fell back into their old ways of coming up short on offense and defense and not being sure of which they wanted to lean on in the closing minutes of a game.

The Lions lost 23-16 to the Bears at Ford Field in a game in which they entered the fourth with a lead, then settled for a field goal on 4th-and-1 at the 2 yard line, then allowed a backup quarterback to drive 82 yards for a tie, then gave the lead back on a pick-six and failed to come back in the end.
