The Detroit Lions beefed up their offensive line and bolstered their dreadful run game when they selected Arkansas center Frank Ragnow with the 20th pick in the first round of the NFL draft.

Great. One little problem, though. Who’s going to actually, you know, run the ball?

The Lions face one glaring problem that has been a sore point for a long time and they ignored it in the first round of the NFL draft on Thursday night by passing up several running backs and drafting an interior offensive lineman who generally had a second-round grade.
