When he first came home from prep school, his football dream on hold as he chased a scholarship that was still years away from materializing, Ka’dar Hollman’s parents told him in no uncertain terms he had to get a job.
So Hollman went out and found temp work at a local bread factory, where he stood shoulder-to-shoulder with co-workers at a conveyor belt for eight hours a day, sifting through loaves of bread making sure they were fit to eat.
