The Detroit Lions have one of the most intriguing backup quarterback situations in the league, and after the first preseason game, things should have gotten a lot clearer for the franchise.
This offseason, the Lions added Kyle Allen to the mix as competition for Hendon Hooker. Allen didn't provide much against the Los Angeles Chargers as he threw two interceptions and accounted for 91 yards.
While Hooker later threw an interception of his own, he wasn't given a fair chance to impact the game, coming in when the Lions were down multiple scores and obviously trying to force offense.
