Golden Tate wants a new deal from Lions, but never considered a hold out

ALLEN PARK -- Jarvis Landry landed a $75 million deal from the Browns. Mike Evans got $82.5 million from the Buccaneers. Just the other day, Brandin Cooks inked an $81 million pact with the Rams.

All for five years. Just like the deal Golden Tate signed with Detroit in 2014, except his was for $31 million.

Even though he's the only one of the bunch with at least 90 catches the last four years. He's broken more tackles than any of them in that stretch, and gained more yards after the catch.

Of course, they're all better downfield threats than Tate too.
