ALLEN PARK, Mich. -- Golden Tate is doing something special Sunday for a late member of the media.
Tate posted on Instagram that he would be wearing cleats honoring broadcaster Craig Sager on Sunday when the Detroit Lions face the New York Giants.
Sager died Thursday at age 65 from leukemia. He was one of the most well-known sideline reporters in the business for his sartorial style, his dogged questioning and interviews with San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich.
Tate earlier honored American troops and his Golden Futures Foundation on cleats this season.
