Golden Tate reportedly out a few weeks with AC joint sprain

Detroit Lions receiver Golden Tate reportedly could miss a few weeks with an AC joint sprain in his shoulder.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, who cited an unnamed source, Tate is likely to miss a few games after he suffered the injury in Sunday’s 52-38 loss to the New Orleans Saints, and more will be known after he has an MRI exam.

Lions coach Jim Caldwell refused to provide an update Monday on Tate or any other player dealing with injuries.
