Friday open thread: Which opt out was the biggest loss for the Lions?

The Detroit Lions had three players opt out of the 2020 NFL season before last Thursday’s opt-out deadline. Those are wide receiver Geronimo Allison, offensive lineman Russell Bodine, and defensive lineman John Atkins.

Question of the day: Which opt out was the biggest loss for the Lions?

My answer: I think it most definitely was Geronimo Allison.

None of the three positions are positions that are terrible difficult to replace: WR4, a backup offensive lineman, and a meh nose tackle. All three of those are positions where you can sign a free agent any day of the season and they just might be better than the guy you had previously.
