Friday open thread: How do you feel about the shortened preseason?

This week it was announced that the NFL preseason will not include the traditional four games played ahead of the regular season. Weeks 1 and 4 have been cut in favor of increased training time, allowing teams to additional leeway in putting together their offseason programs.

For the Detroit Lions, this means that matchups against the Patriots and Bills will no longer occur, leaving the Jets and Dolphins on the schedule... for now. With the ongoing pandemic and increasing infection numbers, it is very possible that this number could again be reduced, if not entirely eliminated.
