The Detroit Lions didn't play a very impressive game in Week 9 against the Minnesota Vikings, but there were still some considerable bright spots to be noted.
Defensively, the Lions battled most of the afternoon. In spite of giving up 27 points, the group generated some big stops and gave the Lions a fighting chance despite being routinely handed short fields. One of the most impressive players all day was linebacker Jack Campbell.
Campbell was active, racking up nine total tackles and one sack against Minnesota. It was another fantastic step in the right direction for a young player who is beginning to make his imprint in plenty of ways in the league.
