Jake Fromm, a former quarterback with the Detroit Lions during the 2025 season, has retired from the NFL and has opted to begin working as a client advisor for an Atlanta insurance brokerage firm.
It was announced a few weeks ago that Fromm would also be joining Atlanta News First network as their sports director, adding a more understandable job to his resume that now reads "retired NFL quarterback" instead of active.
Fromm is a Georgia native, having suited up for the Georgia Bulldogs from 2017 to 2019. He was released from the Lions this year, a day before the NFL draft kicked off.
