There aren’t many players from the darkest days of the Millen Era who ever amounted to much, but Cory Redding was one of the brightest exceptions. The third-round pick in 2003 quickly worked his way into being one of the most reliable, hardest-working talents of that lost decade.
Redding, who played in Detroit for six seasons, announced his retirement on Wednesday.
I’m leaving the game I’ve played for 23 years. Thanks to the teams I played for, coaches, teammates, fans and my family 4 their support!
