Former coach Darryl Rogers to be honored during Arizona State-MSU game

EAST LANSING — Arizona State will honor former coach Darryl Rogers, who also coached Michigan State and the Detroit Lions, during Saturday’s game between the 13th-ranked Spartans and the Sun Devils.

Rogers died July 11. He was 84.

From 1976-79, Rogers guided the Spartans to a 24-18-2 record.
