Since taking over for her husband, the late William Clay Ford Sr., in March 2014, Martha Firestone Ford has been an active owner for the Lions.
And when the team conducted its search for the next general manager, one that ended Friday with the Lions hiring Bob Quinn, Ford was among the people inquiring about the candidates, according to consultant Ernie Accorsi.
“She was involved, believe me,” Accorsi said on a teleconference Sunday afternoon.
How involved Ford was is unclear. Accorsi declined to say who sat in on the interviews with Quinn, one last Tuesday in Providence, R.
