Lions owner Martha Firestone Ford has thanked season-ticket holders for their support and is asking them to be patient.
In an email sent to season-tickets holders Friday night, Mrs. Ford said he understands the fans’ frustration and pledged that better days are ahead.
“You deserve much better,” her email said. “Your support, loyalty and passion for the Lions over the years has been nothing short of remarkable.
“You have done your part. Now we must do our part.”
The Lions, who are a league-worst 1-7, fired team president Tom Lewand and general manager Martin Mayhew last week.
