It’s easy to imagine Detroit Lions President Rod Wood taking this same podium a year from now to announce another regime change. That Bob Quinn and Matt Patricia will be out. That despite all effort, the team’s general manager and head coach couldn’t get it done.
Maybe they won’t. Their record suggests as much.
For at least another year, though, Quinn and Patricia will remain at the podium, and at the helm of the daily operations of this franchise. Maybe that scares you. Maybe you don’t care either way.
