It wasn’t anything like what Jayru Campbell imagined it’d be back when he was a four-star recruit at Detroit Cass Tech. Heck, it wasn’t anything like what he imagined it’d be two weeks ago.
But there Campbell was, peeling off his red T-shirt, getting ready to run his third 40-yard dash of the day in front of his aunt, his older brother, two reporters and a couple of TV cameras, with three of his friends keeping time on their iPhones, and two videographers there to chronicle the quarterback's every move.
