MIAMI — Teez Tabor was playing some of the best football of his career when he suffered a leg injury early in training camp, and while that injury led directly to his release from the team that drafted him, the former Detroit Lions cornerback said this week that it turned out to be a blessing in disguise.
"Oh, that was God's plan," Tabor, now a member of the San Francisco 49ers practice squad, said at Super Bowl 54 media night Monday.
