Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell made waves during his first press conference after getting hired by the team back in 2021.
"We're going to kick you in the teeth. And, when you knock us down, we're going to get up and on the way up we're going to bite a kneecap off," Campbell exclaimed to reporters who were likely a bit taken aback by the intensity with which Campbell spoke for it being his very first media appearance representing the Lions.
We couldn't have known that that 2021 presser would set the tone for essentially every single Campbell-led Lions team iteration since then.
