Detroit Lions defensive tackle DJ Reader is quite the unsung hero for a potent defense. In a world full of Aidan Hutchinson's and Al-Quadin Muhammad's, Reader is a veteran presence on the defensive line that continues to produce at a high level while leading this key Lions unit to easy wins.
Reader is sure to flex his presence against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 5, though, as the 10-year veteran is returning to Ohio for the first time with another team since he was signed away from the Bengals back in 2024.
Injuries, a Super Bowl berth, and a somewhat amicable departure defined the waning years of Reader's time with Cincinnati, but he'll be back with Detroit this Sunday amidst another great season starting for the NFC North powerhouse.
