Discussion: Who is the biggest benefactor from Frank Ragnow’s retirement?

The Detroit Lions spent the offseason with a question mark at the right guard spot following the departure of Kevin Zeitler in free agency. It opened the door for sophomore Christian Mahogany to step in, but there were lingering questions about Graham Glasgow, who struggled down the stretch in 2024 at left guard.

Then, the Lions traded up for guards twice in the draft (Tate Ratledge in the second round and Miles Frazier in the fifth), both of whom have an extensive track record at the SEC level and have the potential to be starters. Suddenly, it was a game of musical chairs, with four contenders for two seats in the interior offensive line.
