‘Tis the season for everyone to dole out their positional rankings and cause a commotion in the NFL community. One of the latest instances was Pro Football Focus’ Trevor Sikkema, who ranked the top quarterbacks in the NFL. Sikkema ranked Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff as the 16th-best QB in the NFL, below some NFC North guys like Jordan Love and (now NFC South guy) Kirk Cousins, and only three spots ahead of Caleb Williams who hasn’t even seen an NFL game yet.
As always, you should take these rankings with a grain of salt, but 16 seems pretty low for a guy who, not too long ago, nearly made it to his second Super Bowl with his second team.
