Colin Kaepernick has a workout scheduled for this weekend in Atlanta as he looks for a way back into the NFL, and the Detroit Lions will be one of the teams in attendance.
Lions coach Matt Patricia said Wednesday that the Lions will send a representative to Saturday's workout, which ESPN reported will include on-field work and interviews.
"We, as an organization, we always do our due diligence on all players that are available," Patricia said.
