The Detroit Lions close out the regular season with the Minnesota Vikings in a Week 18 NFC North matchup. In most seasons, this would spell the end of the Lions’ season, but for the first time in 30 years, Detroit has clinched their division and will host a playoff game.
That said, there are still takes to this game for both teams. The Lions have an outside chance at a two seed if they can win, and both the Cowboys and Eagles lose. The Vikings still have an outside chance at the playoffs, but it will require all of these dominoes to fall in their direction.
