The Detroit Lions held a walkthrough practice on Wednesday to kick off their preparation for Week 8’s game against the Atlanta Falcons. Head coach Matt Patricia said the team wanted to slow things down a bit, and take care of themselves physically at this point in the season.
“We’re kind of at eight-week mark of the season, about half-way through about this time,” Patricia said on Wednesday. “Trying to do a good job of taking care of everybody’s bodies today. We’ll get back at it on the practice field tomorrow, but a big mental day for us here today.
