In his fourth year in the NFL, with only six carries and eight games under his belt, and his brief time spent mostly on the practice squad, Carson heard the words every NFL player dreams of: You’re starting tomorrow.
“Definitely had the butterflies,” Carson said after Sunday’s 31-26 victory over the New York Giants.
