The Detroit Lions made another flurry of roster moves on Friday that resulted in them having one remaining roster move heading into Saturday’s bout with the Dallas Cowboys. Before we get into them, a reminder of the roster moves they made on Thursday:
- Waived CB Chase Lucas
- Waived LB Trevor Nowaske
- Activated FB Jason Cabinda
On Friday, here’s what they did:
- Waived FB Jason Cabinda
- Signed K Michael Badgley to the active 53-man roster (from practice squad)
- Released DL Chris Smith from practice squad
- Signed OL Michael Schofield to practice squad
On the surface, it certainly looks odd that the Lions activated Cabinda on Thursday only to cut him on Friday.
