Detroit Lions safety Tracy Walker practices for 1st time since Week 8

The Detroit Lions finally got some good injury news on Friday after a month of bad injury after bad injury.

Safety Tracy Walker made his return to practice on Friday, making it the first time he has practiced since suffering a knee injury in Week 8’s game against the New York Giants.

Since that injury, the Lions have been hurting at safety. Just prior to it, Detroit traded away veteran and team captain Quandre Diggs. Then soon after Walker’s injury, Miles Killebrew suffered a concussion in practice, Tavon Wilson has missed snaps here and there with various injuries, and rookie Will Harris popped up on the injury report this week with a quad injury.
