One of the worst punt-return units in the NFL could soon be getting some help.
Jamal Agnew returned to practice for the Detroit Lions on Wednesday for the first time since partially tearing a ligament in his left knee in a Week 5 win over the Green Bay Packers.
An All-Pro return man last season as a rookie, Agnew is eligible to return for the final three games of the year, starting with a Dec. 16 game against the Buffalo Bills.
Agnew said Monday that his knee was feeling "great" and he hinted that he would be back at practice soon.
