The Detroit Lions re-signed two exclusive rights free agents Monday, linebacker Steve Longa and defensive end Mitchell Loewen.
Longa missed all of the 2018 season with with a torn ACL he suffered in training camp. He had 13 tackles in 15 games, playing primarily on special teams, in 2017.
The Lions claimed Loewen off waivers from the New Orleans Saints in Week 17. He did not play for the Lions this season, and has appeared in just three games in his NFL career.
