The Detroit Lions announced on Tuesday that fullback Jason Cabinda is returning to the team on the practice squad while also confirming the previously reported news that defensive tackle Isaiah Buggs has been waived.
Cabinda was activated from injured reserve last week and subsequently cut by the team. He cleared waivers, though, and the Lions were able to bring him back onto the practice squad. On Monday, Campbell indicated that he had hoped Cabinda—along with C.J. Gardner-Johnson and Alim McNeill—would return and play in the team’s regular season finale against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.
